Gabriela is a sophomore from Puerto Rico. She intends to major in ecology and evolutionary biology and complete the Spanish Language and Culture certificate. On campus, Gabriela is a member of the Princeton Premedical Society, a tutor for ESL: El Centro, and now an executive editor of The Princeton Medical Review. In her free time, she volunteers at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center.
Gabriela enjoys writing, especially creatively. She finds that sometimes the academic writing in medical literature tends to be convoluted and catered towards a selective public. By joining the PMR, Gabriela hopes to make these medical conversations more accessible to anyone who is interested.
